Hotel House Rules and Regulations
All guests of the Masarykova 30 apartments in Brno are required to follow the rules and regulations.
House Rules
- maintain cleanliness
- don’t destroy anything in the rooms or common areas
- no excessive noise during quiet hours (from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
- don’t move furniture around within the building
- don’t carry any interior furniture outside of the building
- don’t carry bedding or towels outside of the building
- only use outdoor reserved areas
- upon departure, close all windows (we recommend turning off the air-conditioning and heating) and hand over the apartment keys
- no pets allowed anywhere in the building
- the tenant is fully responsible for any damages caused by their own electrical appliances
- no smoking anywhere in the building (including electronic cigarettes), smoking out of the window is also prohibited
Check-in from 2:00 p.m. at the earliest Check-out by 10:00 a.m. at the latest.
By paying for accommodation, the guest accepts the above-mentioned rules and regulations.
Regulations Guest Obligations
The guest shall use the apartment for temporary accommodation responsibly and in accordance with the rules and regulations contained in this agreement. The apartment shall be handed over in good condition and on the appointed date and time. Upon the guest’s departure, inventory shall be taken and the cleanliness of the apartment shall be verified. Only authorized representatives of the accommodation provider may enter the apartment for maintenance and repair purposes and to ensure the proper fulfilment of this agreement. Upon their departure, guests must return the apartment in a clean and tidy condition without any damages. If anything is found to have been damaged, the guest is financially liable. Subletting the apartment is entirely prohibited.
Please follow the House Rules. According to the municipal ordinance, nighttime quiet hours are daily between 10:00 p.m. and 7: a.m. During this time, the guest must respect the rights of other tenants and refrain from excessive noise. If the nighttime peace is disturbed, the other guests are entitled to call the police and the costs incurred will be charged to the guest responsible for the violation.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the building and in every apartment. If any traces of smoking are discovered in the apartment, you will be charged a fine of EUR 250. If the act of smoking should set off the fire alarm, a penalty of EUR 200 shall be charged.
Agreement Termination
The agreement is terminated on the date and time determined within it. The accommodation provider is also entitled to terminate the agreement with immediate effect in the event that the guest is in gross violation of the obligations stemming from the agreement and/or of good morals. Gross violations include primarily disturbing the peace (excessive noise), violating the smoking ban, and damage to the apartment. In this event, the guest is obligated to leave the apartment immediately.
Early Termination
Should the guest terminate the accommodation agreement earlier than agreed upon, the guest is obligated to pay the accommodation price in full.
Inventory
The guest shall take over the apartment with the inventory specified below or listed in the Welcome Kit manual.
Kitchen and living room: toaster, electric kettle, coffeemaker, set of pots, set of plates and utensils, 4 chairs, a table, a television, a sofa, armchairs, a carpet, a coffee table, a lamp
Hallway: wardrobe, iron, ironing board
Bedroom: bed, pillows and blankets, mattresses, lamps, a closet, a chest of drawers
Bathroom: hand towels, bath towels, hairdryer, washing machine with a dryer
Liability for Damages
The accommodation provider is entitled to request that the guest pay a refundable deposit of EUR 500, which may consist of:
- EUR 300 (if the apartment is handed over damaged (damaged facilities) or if in arrears for accommodation or other services)
- EUR 30 (in the event that extra cleaning is required after the guest’s departure because the apartment was found to have been left in a bigger mess than usual)
- EUR 100 (if other tenants complain about excessive noise)
- EUR 100 (if the ban on pets has been violated)
- EUR 250 (if the smoking ban has been violated). If the act of smoking has set off the fire alarm, a fine of EUR 200 shall be charged.
This deposit shall be paid in cash or by credit card and can be requested at any time. The deposit will be refunded within 48 hours after the guest’s departure provided it hasn’t been used.
If the guest fails to pay the refundable deposit and upon their departure it has been found that:
- the apartment is in a damaged state (damage to facilities) and the guest hasn’t compensated the accommodation provider for the damage, and/or
- there are other arrears for accommodation and other services, and/or
- extra cleaning is required in the apartment,
- the smoking ban is violated,
the accommodation provider is entitled to charge the relevant amount to the guest’s credit card.
Cancellation Policy
Notice of Cancellation or Modification is required 14 days prior to arrival date to avoid a cancellation/modification penalty. If you cancel/modify at least 14 days prior to the arrival date your payment will be returned in full. If you cancel/modify less then 14 days before the arrival date you will forfeit your payment. If payments are not made within the required time (3 days after creating the reservation),we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
